| Last night around midnight, my Grandpa passed away in his sleep. He was 89 I believe, and was full of aches and pains, and he was very forgetful. The best way I can look at this is at least he isn't hurting anymore. Whenever I think about that, it makes me happy, but won't take away from the fact that I am going to miss him. Even though he was really forgetful, he always seemed to remember my name. I like that. It makes me feel like I've left a positive impression in his life. I remember when I was really little, we would play horseshoes in his backyard. I wonder if that had anything to do with it, but I'm just glad that I have good memories of him. I love you Grandpa. I miss you. | | |
| hmm... So, tonight I finished writing up my new written proposal. As opposed to my last one, I did not reread and fix up, then reread and fix up this one. I simply wrote what I was thinking and then printed it out. My parents read it and they were both 50-50 on it. I have to fix a little about some characters, and I have to add some more to make it more understandable, and my mom suggested a different storyline using all the same characters, but just a different concept. So... I'm going to tighten it up a little and then send it out. I don't want to go to crazy with changes because people always say go with your gut instinct. So, I have to tighten, and then draw, then have Kera color (thank you), and then hopefully have it sent out by early July. I missed my end of June, but early July should be good. I just really hope that Cartoon Network likes this idea. I really want to leave Todd Lengle, and do something I love. And in AC, lol. If this one doesn't make it as a cartoon, I might turn it into a book series, that I'll want to develop into movies then. But hope for cartoon series. Hope, hope, hope... Please. That's all for now, I guess... Talk to you later. Bye bye! | | |
| In my dream, I was on the phone with the girl from church, and she was talking to me. An she was cool! Then I woke up and had to run to work. Damn you work! Damn you... | | |
| HIGHLIGHTS OF MY AWESOME DAY!!!!!!! - I got to ask Hayden Panettiere a question, and then I swear she kept sneaking peeks at me during the rest of her Q&A. And let me just say that the TV does her no justice. She is so much prettier and glowing in person. Wow...
 - I got to hold actual animation drawings that Walt Disney himself held, and drawings that were signed by some of his Nine Old Men (his best animators). And some actual animation cels from The Little Mermaid as well as others, and I got to see animation drawings and normal drawings and animation cels from Hanna-Barbara, Dr. Seuss, Chuck Jones, Tim Burton, and some of the other inbetween artists. I nearly passed out from the excitement about all of the animation. It was so freaking cool to me.
- I bought an actual Disney animation drawing, that I believe to be from House of Mouse. It's fucking awesome.
- I got to see Lou Ferrigno (big guy! tv Incredible Hulk), Dirk Benedict (Face from A-Team), Noel Neill (Original Lois Lane), Virgil (older wrestler), and Test (newer wrestler)
- I got to meet 2 of Sci Fi channels, Ghosthunters Dave Tango, and Steve Gonsalves, and I got their autographs. They are really cool and really nice. It was awesome.
- I got to meet the creator of Adult Swim's The Oblong's, and I had him draw me as one of the Oblongs. It looks so freaking cool, and he even colored if for me. And one of the coolest things is that he wears clown make up for public appearances. Really cool guy.
Such an awesome day!!!!!!
That's all for now, I guess... Talk to you later. Bye bye! | | |
